Our Policies
Pricing Policy
All prices are based upon dogs in good to fair condition. Base prices are
subject to increase when a coat is severely matted and requires extra brushing or
clipping or when extra time is taken to handle older dogs, puppies, or dogs that
are overly timid or are not used to grooming or nail clipping. Because of the use of the best in shampoos and conditioners and
the time it takes, luxury spa or skin and flea treatments reflect a higher cost.
If you are concerned about the prices, please get a quote before
grooming.
The following prices include a bath, nails, and haircut. They are also
dependent on coat conditions and the amount of hand scissoring involved. If your
dog is small or light coated for the breed, we'll of course charge less, but the
opposite is also true.

Multi-dog Discount
We provide discounts for any of our patrons who are lucky enough to have three or more four-legged companions.
Flea Policy
We groom dogs with fleas but we need to be told ahead of time so that we can schedule around your dog, making sure that we don't expose any uninfected dogs that may be in our shop. Additional fees will be charged if we find any fleas on your dog if you did not notify us.
Puppies
We want your puppy's first few visit to be as pleasant for your little one as possible and will
make every effort to do so by starting with the most simple haircuts. Your puppy
should enjoy grooming and, to encourage this, a puppy's first haircut is not
guaranteed. If you teach your puppy some basic discipline and to be still for
brushing, professional grooming will be much easier for both pet and groomer.
Tearless shampoo will also be used for your puppy's safety.
Aggressive Dogs
We will not groom or bathe dogs that are aggressive or require muzzling for
salon treatment.
Older Dogs
We will use extra care and patience for older pets; however, we will not be held
responsible for any reaction due to the mental or physical stress of grooming
the geriatric dog. If, in our judgment, brushing or clipping is determined to
cause too much stress to the pet, we will modify or terminate the haircut.
Please be sure to notify us of any health conditions that might make your pet
uncomfortable during the bathing, drying, or clipping phases.
Very Large Dogs
It is not our policy to groom very large dogs, please be sure to let us know what type of dog you have and what the dog's weight is when you make your first appointment with us.
Late Policy
If unforeseen circumstances cause us to be late, we will call and make
arrangements for a later discharge so please be sure to provide us with a cell phone or home number where you can be reached in case we are late. Under our policy: Dogs are expected to be
picked up as scheduled. If you cannot make the agreed upon time, please call and
allow us to alter our schedule accordingly. We do not provide waiting facilities for our patrons and for the comfort and security of your pet, it is not recommended that you come in too early while we are still grooming your dog. |
